selecţie din Arhiva Festivalului Internaţional de Film de scurt metraj Oberhausen

Dragi prieteni şi colegi,

Dorim să vă informăm că Uniunea Artiştilor Plastici din Moldova organizează un eveniment de vară foarte special. În luna august pe perioada a patru seri diferite, în faţa Centrului Expoziţional Constantin Brâncuşi vor fi proiectate filme de scurt metraj şi clipuri video din Arhiva Festivalului Internaţional de Filme de Scurt Metraj Oberhausen (www.kurzfilmtage.de). Va fi un eveniment Open Air Cinema în chiar centrul oraşului Chişinău.

În primele două seri, pe 2 şi 9 august 2008, va fi prezentată o selecţie cuprinzînd clipuri video produse în Germania între 1998 – 2007. Pe 16 august vor fi proiectate filme germane de scurt metraj, iar pe 23 august – filme din selecţia internaţională a festivalului.

Programul prezentărilor cuprinde filme documentare, experimentale sau animate, şi clipuri video. Toate lucrările selectate au în comun faptul că ele explorează noi metode şi conţinuturi, dincolo de cerinţele pieţii şi a gusturilor majorităţii: de exemplu un director de film canadian la o preselecţie pentru a deveni parte a grupului TATU, sau o minunată zi din viaţa unui cîine care are intr-adevăr o viaţă de cîine.

Festivalul Internaţional de Film de scurt metraj Oberhausen şi-a cîştigat renumele în ultimii 50 ani fiind primul de acest gen din lume. Festivalul promovează relaţia între artă şi film scurt, şi deasemenea ocupă un loc important în educaţia tinerei generaţii de regizori de film.

Dear friends and colleagues,

The Union of Fine Artists from Republic of Moldova is organizing a special summer event. In August, during 4 different evenings, short movies and music videos from the Archive of the International Short Film Festival Oberhausen will be screened in front of the Exhibition Center Constantin Brancusi in Chisinau. It will be an open air event in the city center.

The programme includes experimental, documentary and animated short movies as well as music videos. All works have in common that they explore new methods and contents beyond the market and stagnated tastes.

During the first two evenings, the 2nd and 9th of August, music videos produced in Germany will be screened, German short movies on the 16th of August and International short movies on the 23rd of August. For example showing Canadian director during a casting for becoming as part of the band TATU, or a wonderful everyday life of a dog that has a real dog life.

The International Short Film Festivalul Oberhausen has won its reputation in the course of the last 50 years becoming thus the first of its kind in the world. It encourages interaction between art and short film and plays an important role in the formation of the younger generation of filmakers.
